Is That Really a Tutu??

You already know that here at www.sweetandsassygirl.com and www.sweetbabystylishmom.com, we LOVE tutus and more tutus!!  Yes, those adorable little skirts for girls made from yards and yards of tulle.  I love seeing girls wearing these fun little outfits while just on an afternoon outing to the grocery with Mom or to that all important birthday party.  They are ever popular and are the ultimate in feminity.

So when I came across a blog for a DIY project to make Tutu Lampshades, from Martha Stewart Weddings, admittedly, I was intrigued.  What a fun (and sassy!) way to dress up a little girls room with none other than…you guessed it…tutus!  A Tutu Lampshade…  Yes, you read that right.  What is fun about this is that not only is it an easy to do craft (perfect for making with your daughter!)…it can be easily personalized by choosing either a simple tutu or a fancy one with crystals, beads, or flowers.  The other way, of course, is by choosing the color.  There are so many colors of tulle, matching her room will be easy!

Have fun and get designing!
